Timewarp Whiplash

I am not a huge fan of fashions that come back in style. Normally, in my opinion at least, it is a very good thing that most clothing fads die. Once a fashion becomes a Halloween costume, that should tell you something.

Case and point:

There is ~nothing~ good about ANYTHING you see here.

I mean really....not much about 80s fashion was worth repeating, yet look around you. It's all back. Skinny jeans? High waisted pants? Neon colors? Leg warmers? Members Only jackets?

Um, yea.
No.

Seriously.

No.

Same goes for the 60s and 70s. Bell bottoms? Gah!

But I will make an exception for these bad-ass Hippie Peace boots by Chooka.

Retro? Yes. But pretty d@mn killer too. These I give my hand stamped seal of approval.

Just saying in case anyone really gives a high-waisted, big-belted, skinny-jeaned, Members Only cr@p.

The Fricken Addictin' License Plate Game

My latest addiction is the license plate game. Not the one where you look for plates from different states (how rhyme-y am I?) but the one where you find multiples of numbers and letters in consecutive groupings. Like double, triple, or the rare quadruple numbers.

I find myself driving alone yelling out, "Double 3! Triple 5! OH! MY! GOD! A QUADRUPLE 9!!"

It is truly sad yet strangely satisfying...and amazingly dangerous.

Cuz I'm only scouring the road for numbers on license plates. Not red lights, Lucy Lane Changers or pedestrians.

Yeah, not good. Not good at all.

And if that isn't bad enough? I am a plate pusher. I've gotten other people addicted. Which is probably exactly what I've done by posting this blog.

Dammit. (Double M!)

Sneakin Around

I have to say I really love these high top rain boots by Dav. If you didn't know they were rain boots, you'd think they were just a pair of killer sneakers. And for some kids, that is a huge selling point. Being cool over rules dry feet every time. That is where these bad boys come in.

They come in the red and black Scot Slate as well as a more feminine version in a Pink and Purple Argyle.

Cool and practical. That's about as good as it gets.
