A Freebie I Couldn't Live Without

I've written before about how much I love my iPhone. Today I am writing extol the virtues of an application I literally could not live without. It is called:

This little freebie (yes, FREE!) has dramatically changed my life, allowing me to happily spend copious amounts of money on iTunes. (I think you can also download this app to your Blackberry. Click above link for more info.)

I am one of those people who loves music but never knows who sings what. Very often I am listening to the radio, watching something on TV or in a store and I hear a song that I love but I have no clue what it's called or who the artist is.

In swoops Sha-ZAM! to the rescue, just like the ancient Superhero it is named after. All you do is hold up your iPhone (or Blackberry apparently) and let it listen to the song. It tells you the name of the song, the artist and album. I have even used it in crowded, noisy places like the mall and it works every time. And it even gives you a link to buy the song then and there. What more could a girl want?
As my nephew would say, and I quote, "Awwwwweeesome!"

If it weren't for Sha-ZAM I would literally be writhing around in mental agony not knowing what all of those cool songs are that I really like. Not pretty, right? Instead I am listening to all those cool songs right now as I am typing this blog.

So this blog is in tribute to the all-mighty Sha-ZAM and whoever created you.
You. So. Totally. Rock!

Technical Frustration

This picture is kinda mean (and yet fricken funny as hell) but right now, I really don't care. I am pissed off.

Here is why.

A few weeks ago I upgraded the software on my iPhone.

I should have known better.

Never, ever mess with something that works.

Moment of much regretted weakness on my part.

Since then, my email has been all messed up. It works for a few days..then suddenly it doesn't.

It won't send. It won't receive. It won't do a damn thing.

Other than get me really, really mad.

I have restored and reset and resynched numerous times.

I have been to the Apple Store twice and called the tech support line twice.

Today I called and got DISCONNECTED after 20 minutes on hold.

I called AT&T today as well to ask about my online account. I can't log in. I got an email that my password had changed. I didn't change it. I am concerned....

So I call them. Their systems are down (they must have gotten the same systems as the USPS).

I am highly frustrated. And annoyed. Being an impatient person by nature, I am in awe of myself that I haven't flipped out yet in a big way.

I did eat some chocolate however. Something had to give.

I just want my iPhone to work.

I want to know someone hasn't stolen my AT&T account info.

I want to call a Tech Support line and get some fricken help without being on hold for 20 minutes and getting disconnected or told "Our systems are down."

Is that really too much to ask?

Really??

Really??????

Pretty Pictures

I take all my pictures with my iPhone now. I don't much bother with the digital camera anymore since I always have my wonderful phone with me. (I have mentioned my iPhone obsession, yes?)

Here are a couple of pictures I took recently that I think turned out quite nice.

Just thought I would share....
