These charming creatures have always been two of the most popular styles of wellies DLL Rainwear has carried. We even 'commissioned' Western Chief to make Men's Frog boots and they, too, literally jumped off our warehouse shelves. There was a collective sigh of sadness among people of all ages when the manufacturer chose to discontinue the women's versions of these puddle stompers a few years back.

Now all you lovers of ladybugs and frogs can click your rubber-clad heels because as of February, DLL Rainwear will be getting a limited supply of both Women's Ladybug and Frog boots in sizes 5 through 11. We are accepting pre-orders on our website at the links above.

A children's version of the Ladybug boots are currently available as is a kid's Frog umbrella. Sadly, the Men's Frogs are still unavailable but maybe someday soon, they will make a comeback.

Homeroom Rain Boots Meet Blue Tulle

This gorgeous little princess is Ava, my good friend's daughter. Ava is all about couture and has done Carrie Bradshaw proud by matching her blue tulle fairy dress with her Western Chief Homeroom rain boots. Who knew tulle skirts and rubber boots were two good things that went so well together? Ava and Carrie of course.

This is a new boot design from Western Chief called the Corina. I LOVE them! I think I would match them with the Rainforest Cream Packable coat for a super feminine rainy day ensemble.

New Women's Short Trench Coats

Here are two new styles of Point Zero short trench coats we will soon have in stock.

Both are double breasted with belted waists, lapel collars and bold button closures. Yesterday on a celebrity website I found this photo of Katie Holmes with her daughter, Suri, sheltered under a Ladybug umbrella.

Here is a Western Chief Ladybug umbrella we have that is very similar and much cuter if I do say so myself.

We also have ladybug boots (women's and children's) and a matching kid's rain coat.

The Rain Boots That Will Not Die

This photo is a picture of the owner of DLL Rainwear in HER trusty rain boots. She sent me this photo after reading my blog about wanting pictures of people wearing their boots.

She has had these boots for years (Western Chief Dots) and admits to poor rain boot TLC etiquette. Leaves them on her front porch, in the sun and heat. Somehow they continue to survive (although I wouldn't recommend any of our customers take the same route in caring for their boots). This is what she wrote about them:

I use these guys for doing yard work (digging holes, watering, and mowing the lawn). These things will not DIE!!! I have several other pair that are lined up to take their place but these just keep taking a beating.
